 Prenatal visits will be 1-2 hours long, depending. In addition to getting to know you better, I’d like to get to know your partner a little better if you have one, so I encourage them to attend at least one of our meetings. They hold such an important role helping me help you. We will work cohesively and I will teach them ways in which they can support you. Our meetings may consist of - but are not limited to - discussing any of the following:

Birth and/or postpartum plan

Stages and phases of labor 

What-ifs and emergencies

I have been assisting home birth Midwives since 2019, totaling over 100 births. I am certified in NRP & CPR. I have assisted in successful newborn resuscitation, but typically, the births I attend are calm and lovely home births. I can assist you with the following but am not limited to:

This is a service I currently outsource. My friend, mentor, and midwife, Cayleigh, prepares the client's encapsulation by using the Traditional Chinese Method of rinsing, steaming, dehydrating, and encapsulating the placenta for consumption. Clients report the benefits of encapsulation as a decrease in postpartum mood disorders, increased production of oxytocin, a decrease in stress hormones, restoration of iron levels following bleeding after birth, and increased milk supply. 

I have met many mothers that are interested in trying cloth diapers but for a variety of reasons don't. I want to help bridge that gap. This is a low-risk option, with information at your fingertips, and plenty of choices! There are only (Ha!) about 50 different brands & styles. While I don't have all of them, I do have a large stash for my mamas to explore! This is for beginners or a refresher for mamas that have forgotten a little along the way. 

 This is a unique 10-hour service I offer in an attempt to Mother our Mothers to the fullest. I will come to your home in the evening and stay until the morning.
